In 1936, Donald Duncan, a yo-yo entrepreneur in the United States, decided to build a new parking meter designed for an emerging automotive population. He employed a vastly improved mechanical design and marketed it with such flair that by 1959, the Duncan parking company was manufacturing over 80 per cent of all the meters being installed around the world.
Nine decades later, Duncan Solutions is a world-leading, best practice provider of parking and enforcement technologies, and proudly design and manufacture parking machines and applications here in Australia.
